"IDEAS FOR THE MENU" another Erasmus+ Traineeship Project concluded!
The project “Ideas for the menu” was promoted within the Programme Erasmus+ and organized by “Kaišiadorys School of Business and Technology” in cooperation with AMFI, held in Celano, Abruzzo (Italy) from the 04th to the 25th March 2017.
This project gave 6 students and 1 teacher from Lithuania the possibility to deepen their knowledge and skills getting in touch with the Italian culture and lifestyle. All the participants increased their competitiveness and self confidence by acquiring real work place experience and specific professional skills. AMFI International thanks all those enterprises who have agreed to host the students, giving them the chance to learn from real life experiences. In their job place, participants learnt how to:
Prepare traditional Italian starters;
Prepare traditional Italian prime dishes
Prepare recipes of various traditional Italian and Abruzzo dishes
Use different kind of cheese in dishes preparation
Use various local vegetables
Furthermore they:
Prepared and served tables with tablecloth, napkins, flatware, glasses and other settings;
Got skills and knowledge on how to take orders working together with the restaurant employee and on their own;
Got skills how to serve meals and drinks for customers
