Finalized with Great Satisfaction the Project “Spectrum of Entrepreneurship”

Aukstadvaris Agricultural School has coordinated an Erasmus+ KA1 project called “Spectrum of Entrepreneurship”. The Erasmus+ project gave 4 students of cook-waiter profession and 4 students from small business services and 1 accompanying teacher from Lithuania the possibility to work in restaurants, bars and businesses of Celano, Italy from from June 25th to July 12, 2018. The mobility has been organized and managed by AMFI International.

The Erasmus+ project gave the participants, who are studying to become cook-waiters and small businesses specialists the possibility to deepen their knowledge and skills getting in touch with the Italian culture and lifestyle. They were able to increase their competitiveness by acquiring real workplace experience and specific professional competences.

MAIN GOAL: Project’s main goal was to provide an opportunity for students to have the internship in foreign companies and obtain new and practical skills and competences.

AMFI International was able to organize such a programme thanks to the collaboration of several local partners:

  • La Cittadella;

  • Azienda Zootecnica Le Gole di Finucci Lorenzo;

  • RAMIè di Vicaretti Franca;

  • Tabaccheria Tiberi;

  • Ferramenta Taccone;

  • My Gift;

  • AMFI International

During their stay in Italy, those students who held a professional practice as cooks or waiters learnt how to:

  • set the table;

  • deal and negotiate with customers;

  • work in team working and observing their colleagues;

  • Prepare meals, which contains fish or seafood;

  • Decorate and prepare tables for fish or seafood dishes;

  • organize a small business;

  • Cooking Italian meals.

Those students who held a professional practice in small business services learned how to:

  • organize and plan small businesses for tourists and recreational activities;

  • to communicate properly with clients;

  • deal and negotiate with customers;

  • organize a small business;

  • Manage the agenda.

This time was life changing for the students and positive for AMFI, as its staff gained even greater experience from hosting such good students from Aukstadvaris Agricultural School. Therefore, we hope that the cooperation with this Lithuanian institution will be able to strengthen and continue through time.
