Elektrenai Vocational Training Centre Makes Possible “Experience at workplaces in EU countries” for
Elektrenai Vocational Training Centre has coordinated an Erasmus+ KA1 project called “Experience at workplaces in EU countries”. The Erasmus+ project gave 8 students of cook and manager assistant profession from Lithuania the possibility to deepen their knowledge and skills getting in touch with the Italian culture and lifestyle. All the participants increased their competitiveness by acquiring real workplace experience and specific professional competences. The project unfolded from October 31st to November 21st 2019 and it has been organized and managed by AMFI International.
Through the Erasmus+ mobility, Participants were able to deepen their knowledge and skills getting in touch with the Italian culture and lifestyle. They were able to increase their competitiveness by acquiring real workplace experience and specific professional competences.
MAIN GOAL: Project’s main goal was to provide an opportunity for students to acquire new practical professional skills and competences during the internships in foreign companies.

During their stay in Italy, participants acquired specific professional competences, such as:
Manager Assistants learned to organize small business activities oriented to recreation and tourism, to communicate with clients;
Cooks learned to to prepare meals of fish or seafood;
This time was life changing for the students and positive for AMFI, as its staff gained even greater experience from hosting such good students from Elektrenai Vocational Training Centre. Therefore, we hope that the cooperation with this Lithuanian institution will be able to strengthen and continue through time.
