ERASMUS MOBILITY FOR WIDE SPECTRUM OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING STUDENTS

From May 8th to May 25th, 2023 AMFI hosted a group students and graduates from Šilutė

Vocational Training Centre, Lithuania. The Erasmus+ KA1 project No. 2022-1-LT01-KA121-VET-

000053753 gave 8 students and graduates of various professions from Lithuania the possibility to

deepen their knowledge and skills, getting in touch with the Italian culture and lifestyle. All the

participants increased their competitiveness by acquiring real workplace experience and improving

their professional competences.

This group presented a wide range of vocational training professions: cooks, waiters-bartenders,

social worker's assistants, decorators (builders) and auto-mechanics. Students and graduates had a

three-week mobility improving their professional skills and competences in real workplaces.

Participants also used their free time to explore Italy and get in touch with Italian culture.

Goal of the internship: To improve the competencies of learners in foreign business enterprises in

order to achieve competitiveness in the global labor market.
