LITHUANIAN STUDENTS GAIN VALUABLE SKILLS DUING THE INTERHNSIPS IN ITALY

In July 2024, AMFI welcomed a group of students and graduates of various professions from the

Elektrėnai and Šilutė Vocational Training Centres in Lithuania. This visit was part of the Erasmus+

project, No. 2023-1-LT01-KA121-VET-000127181, which aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge

of Lithuanian students while experiencing Italian culture and lifestyle firsthand.

The primary objective of these internships was to improve the competencies of learners in foreign

business enterprises in order to achieve competitiveness in the global labor market. Students and

graduates of various vocational training professions took full advantage of this opportunity, honing

their professional skills through hands-on experience. Moreover, the students immersed themselves

in Italian culture, culminating in a memorable visit to Rome, where they experienced the rich history

and vibrant lifestyle of Italy's capital.
